I'm Mohammed. I'm building Rushd, and I help businesses build theirs.
I'm co-founder and CTO of Rushd, a Sharia-compliant investing app for Oman. Alongside it, I design and build websites, apps and backend systems for founders and businesses. Based in Muscat, working with clients anywhere.

My role
As co-founder and CTO, I built and run all of Rushd's technology: architecture, product engineering, infrastructure, security, and the integrations with our regulated payment and brokerage partners.
The same standards go into every client project I take on: security, reliability, and care for the people using it.
About me
I studied Applied Computer Science at Dalhousie University in Canada, then came home to Muscat to build things here.
Before Rushd, I worked at a fintech company regulated by the Central Bank of Oman. That's where I learned how the local market works: the regulations, the compliance requirements, and how payments and financial services fit together here. Much of that experience went straight into Rushd.
In October 2025 I co-founded Rushd, where I lead everything technical. I also build websites, apps and backend systems for clients, and I bring that local know-how to every project.
